Natalija Gucheva (1998) is a multimedia artist, curator, and researcher whose work explores how art can create shared experiences that reframe memory, care, and belonging. Through immersive installations, performances, videos, and texts, she engages with living archives of stories and memories, using storytelling and world building to bring the body, memory, and processes of relational care into focus.
Gucheva draws on feminist and queer histories and archives, including oral histories, to challenge dominant cultural narratives and create space for often-overlooked voices. Her curatorial and facilitation practice is process-driven, emphasizing long-term collaborations, shared labor, and the exploration of the politics of artistic work.
Alongside her individual practice, she is a full-time member of the Ghent-based transdisciplinary collective Shif—t*, where she collaborates on projects that extend these commitments into collective action and community engagement.
